Windows Vista RC2 5744 has been released!!! Note: The list for previous Vista builds will remain stickied for reference.

We are making a break from the "old mold" and moving toward a more well defined model here with RC2 as it pertains to reporting working programs and such; based on the huge demand, we are categorizing instead of trying to manage one huge list.

HP LaserJet 3015 (Printer/Scanner works) cannot get the software to install to use the fax and scanning software. Fax to PC needs the software to work (PDF). Using the windows provided drivers to do basic print and scan.

HP PhotoSmart 7900 series (No drivers and XP drivers won't install in any mode)

Game not working : Need for Speed Carbon (both demo and full game)
Battlefield 2142 (demo) : clipping is so heavy I can't set options nor connect to a server

I know these mainly interest French users, but yet that's 60 millions folks potentially interested =)

Here are a few that work , I know because I'am using them with no problems.

Works Windows Vista RC2 x86

MultiMedia Programs
Alcohol 120% 1.9.5.4521 (32-bit): It Works great, Takes alittle while to create a virtual drive, it takes about 5 mins to create the virtual drive.

FoxitReader 2.0 Pdf

Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Express Editions


That is just a few, I know Alcohol 120% has not worked in the passed with any other builds but it works great withy RC2. I'am glad, because it is a great burning program.

AHEAD NERO 7.5.7 for x86, RC2 actually works!!

finally a real burning proggie!!

Also, Games/ X86/ Far Cry works for me pretty well..

Not working Logitech Quickcam pro 4000, cannot install drivers on x86 Vista,tried xp drivers nada.
Lexmark printer scanner X1270 not taking drivers,no help at all at Lexmark support web page either.

Logitech Quickcam pro 4000 (xp drivers) now working on x86 VistaRC2 Ultimate.
