I am trying to install Windows Live Messenger for Mobile Beta. I followed these instructions:

1. From a WAP 2.0 phone browser, browse to this url: http://mobile.live.com
2. Sign in with your Passport or Live ID
3. Select Messenger Beta link

That was from the Live Ideas site.

I am able to do #1 and #2. But after I sign in, there is no "Messenger Beta" on the list of choices. There is:

Mail
Search beta
Spaces
Local
Live.com beta
etc.

There is no Messenger. I tried using both IE as well as Opera Mini. I definitely can access the Passport network. In fact, just earlier today I signed in and got the Live.com beta. I have checked and double checked.

Thanks.

I have the Cingular 8525 with Windows Mobile 5.0.

Problem solved! I found out from someone that all I had to do was go to http://mobile.live.com/wlm/

As soon as I went there, I was signed into Messenger.

I still have no idea why it wasn't on the list. saywhat
