I have the Rebel XTi and I love it. bought it from a well known store on ebay. great deal. The camera itself was in the low $600 range and I got 4 gig card 2 tripods a hardcase and a soft case 4 lenses and a free telephoto. I paid $1300 for everything. 18-55, 28-105, and 75-300 plus filters.
