Just wanted to give a shot out and a congratulations to my hometown DETROIT TIGERS, for a steller sweep of the ALCS and their first world series appearance in 22 years. I can smell the pennant already!!!!!!!!!!!

Congratz to the Tigers and Leyland. It couldn't have been fun for the last 12 yrs. before him when they were consistently on the bottom. I also hope the Mets come through. It'll be nice to have a non-Yankee World Series. I can't stand Steinbrenner's philosophy of thinking that if you throw enough money into something, it'll work. Sounds like a government.

That was a nice way to end the game. I saw it on the highlight clip several times. Pretty sweet hit to bring all those runs in.

Gotta give love to Maggs for bringing it home when it counted, but the real praise should go to the Bullpen. One of, if not the strongest pitching staff in MLB right now, Verlander and his young arm, Zumaya and the triple digit heater, and Kenny Rodgers and his emotion and experience. Seems like they have Lightning in a bottle and this is a team of destiny.
