I know I still got to say hello to everyone in the Intro Forum, but I ran into a problem w/2.1. When I go to click on the Configure button, (I have Dual Boot w/ XP Pro and Vista RC-1 on seperate drives every thing as far as I know has been running fine with the dual boot so far. I just really wanted to try out yours guys great program, and I can seem to get it to work). Anyway back to the problem. When I go to click on the Configure button I get an error message, "system.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Value of '120' is not valid for 'Value'. 'Value' should be between 'Minimum' and 'Maximum'.". This happens when I try to run VistaBootPRO from both XP and Vista. I really appreciate any info in advance to help resolve this issue.

If I am reading your post correctly, it is only when you click on the Configure button that you recieve this error?

When you first open the program, do the settings for your current configuration display in the Display settings textbox?

If the settings are displayed, if you could click on the Detailed button and then copy and paste what is displayed there into a post here, this will give us a better idea of what may be causing the error.

Welcome to PRO and as for your problem, it has to do with your boot timeout. Currently, you have your boot timeout set at 120 seconds. Unfortunately, the boot timeout in 2.1 will only go to 100. This is where the conflict is coming in at. While you are in Vista, you can go to "Start" -> "All Programs" -> "Accessories" -> Right click on Command Prompt and Run as Administrator. Then just use this command

bcdedit /timeout 100

This way you still get a longer display but will be able to use the Configure's page in VBP 2.1

Yes, thanks Jason!! That even helped me........ I didn't realize the limitation on VBPro with the timeout......doh.....

Glad you got it worked out John, for future reference, you can also change your boot timeout by using msconfig > and setting the timeout in the boot tab
