what happened to my updates on wlm and vs.net 2k5 pro?

i can assure you they work... 3 formats later now, and each installed everytime. sin into msn, im there on wlm

NOD32 can be extracted manually
D AMN NFO Viewer 2.10 (no space in the d*mn though wink) works well

Attempting to install InstallSheild 11 will screw up explorer.exe, your graphics drivers, and uxss.exe

Only workaround is to run in classic theme. Express, no-DWM, etc. will NOT work.
You need to COMPLETELY disable all animations, disable DWM, use the classic theme, then you can install it.
After install feel free to go back to DWM, etc.

It installs OK
It runs OK
When you try to create an image, if you type in the save dialog the name of hte backup file you want to call it, it will crash.
You need to browse to the folder via the nav bar, then press the little button next to the name text-box that generates a name for you autmoatically.

The CD-Backend for making a bootable recovery medium does not work either; you will need to burn that ISO from another PC.

SnagIt 7 installs and works.

Folding @ home instals with compatibility wizard only and works well.

Works:

ClearType Tuner (not a program, but is designed for XP -- works on Vista though)
http://www.microsoft.com/typography/cleartype/tuner/Step1.aspx

Not only allows you to turn ClearType on and off (which you can do in Windows) but is a MS ActiveX control which allows you to adjust different levels of it.

Deamon tools works fine for me, what I had to do was run the installation, then after restarting I had to run the installation again. It will complete after running it a second time.
