I remember how I'd practically pray for snow some days, and then it would snow on a Sat or something, I was like WHYYY? I don't miss school this way.

We've had a few cold blast so far this year, but no ice/snow yet. We had a decent chance with this big storm that just went through, but it was about 5-8 degrees F to warm in our area. It takes JUST the right conditions to snow in SC. You have to have an Alberta Clipper (cold air wedge) from the north hit a moisture patch from the gulf that's not too warm. If that happens we almost always get snow... it's just a rarity.

We got 8-10" a few years ago, but that was the last snow of any significance (and was likely the biggest since I'd been born in 80). I hope we'll see some more white stuff this year, I miss it.

I'll take some snapshots of my yard and send them your way if you like tongue

Overnight me some of it, I'll feel better. LOL

I guess snow is a love/hate thing depending on where you live. I am absolutely positive that when my family traveled to the rockies or to Alaska and we went nuts in the summer snow that people thought we were crazy.

I'll have to admit, that I HATE the cold weather (I live in Michigan, I know) but I love the snow, catch 22. Oh well you can't have cake and eat it too, as the old cliche goes.

We got 4-5 inches here, the plows werent out until about 4 hours after it started. I broke a headlight on someone's blazer because the roads were slippery. I hate snow.

I apparently like whatever it's not. Having to work outside, I look forward to summer during the winter and forward to winter during the summer.

Compared to Vermont, we've been quite lucky in not getting the torrential rains and now the snow though we do really need the moisture. Only 1.5" here.

We only got about 4 or 5 inches here but to our south they got 17.5 inches of snow and out on the Mass coast they got hurricane force wind gusts.
