Here's an interesting comment about McDonalds. In an area in Scotland where most people speak gaelic, round about the town of Fort William. The area has all its signposts and names down in English as well as gaelic. The people of Fort William asked Mcdonalds if they could put there name on their logo down in Gaelic as well as English. Mcdonalds refused saying that the name Mcdonalds was worldwide and they could not deface a name that was there's. The stupid people at Mcdonalds did not realise that there shops are in the heart of Mcdonald country where the name originates, so you can imagine the furore that has caused. The ignorance of large organisations holds no bounds.
