Everyone else (other sites) have one of this threads... so I thought it'd be cool to start one of our own as well.
I figured if nothing else, in three years we'll look back and be like, "whoa... that was the song I liked?"
Let me put it this way... the Macarena was the Number 1 song in America for 4 weeks in the late 90's. Need I say more? LOL
Sooo what are you listening too...

Ok, I don't know why... maybe it's the background music, but I absolutely love Godsmack's new (sorta) song "Serenity."
If you haven't heard it, download it. It's significantly differant from their other more hard rock tunes (which I also like), but it's a great song.
Now my music tastes are as diverse as they come. I'll listen to anything, well, most of the time. Usually there is 1 or so types I don't like. Some of my favorite artists in the following categories:
Rock: Metallica, Alice in Chains, and Linkin Park
Pop: Ok, make that 2 I don't like.
Country: Garth... nuff said.
Rap: Nelly
Classic: Bond and Enya
Reggae: Makaha Sons of Ni'ihau (go figure?)
American Alternative: DMB (Dave Matthews Band)
British: The Who, and Radiohead
Canadian: Our Lady Peace, and Barenaked Ladies

Very interesting but your choice of the Who surprises me as they've been around for nearly forty years....lol. I understand your choice of Radiohead though.
PS I saw the Who live in Glasgow in 1969.

A few of the bands I like no longer even exist
Alice in Chains, Nirvana (not listed), and others including the Makaha Sons (above) are no longer bands. In most cases the lead singer died.

As long as it isn't that real country, sing through the nose stuff, then I probably like it. I mostly listen to 70's and 80's rock, 38-Special, ZZ-Top, Boston, Led Zepplin, Chicago, and music along those lines. I do have a few DMB songs. I also don't care for Industrial Music that much either.

The song that's been stuck in my head all day is "Bigger than my body" by John Mayer.

I also like Nickleback's Someday and ironically, another great song is also called Someday by Sloth.
Listening to the first now

I'm gonna have a lot of dl'ing to see what you liked. Have to admit I've sort of turned the radio off since rap and techno.

Not big on Rap myself.
Techno however is something I do like now. Especially remixes by DJ Mystik.
