People's Choice Awards 2008 Nominees

Unlike the Oscars or the Golden Globes - in which nominees and winners are selected by industry peers - the People's Choice Awards are determined solely by the viewing public. This year, nominees were announced in November, with final winners to be revealed at the 35th Annual People's Choice Awards airing live January 8, 2008 from L.A. at 9PM ET on the CBS Television Network.

Nods this year go to perennial favorites Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, Halle Berry and Sandra Bullock as the enduring sweethearts of the silver screen while other Hollywood notables include Denzel Washington, Matt Damon and Bruce Willis for recent outstanding performances. Several new awards for 2008 include "Favorite Threequel" and in the TV category, "Favorite Scene Stealing Star". In the race for Favorite TV Drama is CSI: Crime Scene Investigation
House, and Law & Order: SVU.
