I'm considering changing our primary navigation to be a bit more fancy using some CSS and Javascript. It changes depending on the top.
See the demo here:

Let me know your general thoughts, if you have any problems, or have suggestions for what else we might add to the top bar.

That's nice and gives a cleaner look to the site. You've got my vote!

Great, it's more tidy and gives more space for new things.
Um... a sitemap link perhaps?

We have a google sitemap, but we really need an automated one for users.

I like that drop down menu, but making it shove everything else downwards seems a little too jumpy. I think it either has to go over the Pro-Networks logo (then, of course, you'd want it to disappear after) or have the gray bar there all the time with changing text. It'd also look a little better if it faded in... but that might have to be done in flash. And if you could make it keep the parent menu highlighted green (currently Home is green all the time) it would feel a little better.

What browser are you using? The bar should always be there, with one set of links or another. It should never disappear or be animated in any way (other than when the links change).
It also, by default, should be over the PROnetworks globe logo.

OK, I was using firefox at work. However, now that I'm at home, it is there by default. However, it seems like it loads up after some ads, so it doesn't appear for a good 5 seconds.
