'Jazz Man'

I'm busy @ work and can't find the time @ the moment. Find me some Buddy Rich to remind me of when I was younger. My mate 'The FruitBat' introduced me to his music and its not forgotten.

Dave 'Hal Killer' Bowman.

Buddy vs. Animal This is just an appetizer.wink

Gene Krupa and Buddy Rich Both legends of course

Time Check One of my all time faves.

Here's the last TV show he did before he died in '87 at he age of 69. It was a great interview with a lot of insight into the man. It was BBC Parkinson's show several weeks before his death.

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

Part 4

That was a well done stitching job, kudos to the maker, that fit so well! I've got to find that BR concert if I can, it gave me the chills! thumbsup

Good idea on the brew, I'll join you. cheers

OK, that was the Northsea Jazz Festival in '78 and the number has been one of BR's standards for years, maybe even when Palmer was still in diapers. lol Yup on 'imagine what...'!

Another 'what if' was when Miles Davis wanted to Hendrix to play on an album, too bad he 'drowned' before that happened.sad

Hahaha, I thought Palmer was much younger for some reason, so the poster of that vid may not be that far off as far as influences go. I'll go dig up that number as far back as I can, at least before Palmer first recorded and hear for myself. I don't have anything better to do anyways.smile
