bernique,

Welcome to PROnetworks and stop our Intro Area to tell us a little about yourself.

Would mind copying and pasting the contents of VistaBootPRO -> View Settings -> All here so we can take a look at that. Sounds like there might be a problem with your timeout setting.

bernique,

Sorry about the delay. It looks that your entire BCD Registry is somewhat corrupted. If you wouldn't mind doing this for me.

1. Open VistaBootPRO
2. In the View Setting screens click on All
3. Copy the contents of that here

Obviously you already a boot timeout set but I think that there might be another culprit here. All your Boot Drive's, and Windows Drive's are reporting unknown. Do you have any weird drive configuration?

Glad to hear you got it working. I will take a look at the difference there between 3.1 and 3.3 however I am about 99.9% sure nothing changed on that aspect of things. But I really can't remember right now.

Ahh. That actually makes more sense. We are working on a multi-lingual version which will correct the issues that we are currently experiencing between non-english Vista users and VistaBootPRO. That is the main problem is there is a language conflict with VistaBootPRO and Vista. Please make sure you check for updates often. smile

Hey free Translation by Google

Not perfect but does allow me to somewhat understand what you did.

Google Translation wrote:

Use the software Vistaboot Pro free downloadable and installs under XP (a council uses version 3.1 of Vista boot pro and not the last.) (attention the file is downloaded correctly but oddly it is necessary to add extension .EXE to him so that it is functional) When you launch the software, in the heading “OS Entries” he Manages will detect you a Vista partition, adds the OS “Windows Legacy” (you will include/understand when you will have the software under the eyes). You also indicate the letter of reader on whom Windows XP is and you add while clicking on Apply (you will see apparaitres Windows Legacy in the list right in lower part of Windows Vista (I know the software detects Vista whereas that boot not maisne do not see Xp whereas it boot it is illogical). Then you go in the heading “boot loader” and you refills the Vista boot loader and you click on “Aplly” For starting again your machine, it is also necessary added the ntdetect.com files and ntldr (if not XP this time will not bootera correctly any more) to the root of the partition on which XP is (you will find these files in the file i386 Cd of XP). When you start again you will have your dual Vista boot and XP.
