IL-Sturmovik Forgotten Battles


Last year IL-2 took the flight simulator world by storm when it was released. This sequel brings with it new missions, planes and a focus on a different part of the Eastern Front. The graphics are better than those of any competitors with realistic water and sun effects. The detail of each aircraft is excellent and the artificial intelligence is impressive.

Even ground units show intelligence - destroy part of a convoy and the trucks will manoeuvre round to continue their journey. The campaigns are dynamic and reflect your performance in missions. If you loose experienced pilots, the squadron will have more rookies. It's also now possible to fly campaigns as a member of a bomber crew.

This latest update remains a game for the serious enthusiast, although there are many options for changing the difficulty of campaigns.
