Red Shark


Some games are popular because they keep the action simple. Red Shark follows this philosophy with a straightforward plot and non-stop action. In 2010 the Russians develop a time machine and decide to use it to change the course of modern historical events in their favor. The scenario in question sees a modern attack helicopter sent to the Eastern Front during the Second World War.

Philosophy and science background aside, this is more of an arcade game than a proper helicopter simulator. Your chopper is best controlled with a combination of the mouse and keyboard but it does not bear any real resemblance to a normal helicopter.

There are plenty of hills and some forests to keep the landscape interesting, even though there is no variation to the trees. Missions are straightforward but basic, offering only an entertaining distraction.
