Those who sign up for the free service will acquire a 'life' which is diminished as they are fragged in-game, while each frag registered wiil win a percentage of the life's cost to their victims. This life-cost rate will vary from game to game depending on the skill level of the players involved.

The ever reliable cheat software, Punkbuster, meanwhile, will keep those looking to line their pockets via foul means at bay. Scheduled for launch in March the service is likely to spark a gambling-or-gaming debate, with pay-based gaming illegal in 11 US states. YouPlayGames already insist that age restrictions will prevent minors exercising their tiny trigger fingers on the servers.
