Restaurant Empire

Run your own foodery in this culinary management sim

The restaurant business certainly isn't for everyone so if, like us, you're capable of even burning porridge, there's a safe way to experiment - Restaurant Empire. This demo puts you in the risable hat of a lead chef in an ailing Parisian Bistro, where you'll be taught the ropes by your ex-food biz guru uncle Michael, before being set loose on your own with a goal of 35 customers a day and earnings of $30,000 a month.

Far easier than it sounds, considering you need to set up a menu, hire staff, and decorate the place, on top of simply serving the customers. You need to ensure your restaurant always has a decent rating, which is generated from the quality of the food, how good the choice is, the attractiveness of the restaurant, the efficiency of service, and even the attitude of your overworked and underpaid staff.

Manage it all well and you'll become a gastronomic legend - get it wrong and your customers will be happier raiding the bins at the back of the shop.

Always ensure there are enough servers in the restaurant - unfed customers are angry customers.
