I booted into MCE and used VBP, to change the names in the menu from earlier windows to Windows Media Center and the one for Windows to Windows Vista. Now when I try to boot into either one it says they are corrupt, and I can't get into either one.

I used my MCE disk to try to repair the MBR (FIXMBR) but it did not work.

Say what you will, but Vista is really cool. I loaded the Disk with Vista on it, read the choices I was presented with and one was to repair the startup and walla, back in business.

That is very strange indeed that your BCD was corrupted by a name change eek

Glad you got that sorted out though yeshaus. Did you perhaps change the drive letters from that same page by mistake?

No, didn't change the drive letters, only renamed in the menu. Totally at a loss as to what happened

yeshuas,

Sorry for the delayed response and glad to hear that you got everything working again. I have been worried that this may be something within VBP. With this information there is going to be a change with VBP in renaming entries. Make sure to check for updates every now and again as this is something that we will definitely fix.

Thanks,
Jason
