Welcome to PROnetworks shingo. Have you got Vista installed on your system?

Try copying bootsect.exe from the Program Files>PROnetworks folder and paste it to the Windows\System32 folder. Then open the command prompt (DOS Windows) and type in the following command:

CD\ and press enter on your keyboard
bootsect /NT60 ALL and press enter on your keyboard

Reinstalling the Vista bootloader runs that command, and VistaBootPRO executes it just fine. If you still do not have the Vista boot menu after running that command then something else is preventing reinstallation of your Vista boot menu.

In that case you may want to try a Startup repair by booting from the Vista DVD and at the Install now screen select Repair my computer at the bottom left. Startup repair should start running automatically and if not then just select Startup Repair from the top of the menu which will appear after it has checked your Vista installation.

Ofcourse any of this will only work if Vista is already installed on your system.

Yes, simply installing VistaBootPRO will not place an installation of Vista on your system (Now that would be a good trick.....) if you're only running XP. Try Grav!ty's solution above and let's go from there
