tankershavewings.com is mine sort of a play on words in forestry talk the tanker I drive with the fire dept with wheels is a tender. So when I work for forestry I need to remember that tankers have wings. The volcanoe site is the state of alaska. Thanks for the positive comment and thanks for the help

Holy sh*t Batman, look up!!!! Anyways fireman064, glad to see you on a break, unlike the Cali folk. I guess you'll go back next spring then.

BTW, that volcano pic I posted looks great! Stretched, it looks even more ominous as a wallpaper! I hope no ones living near there? huh

My wildland fire season starts end of March. It will be dark cold and covered in snow. We go from snow and ice to burn season and 23 hours of daylight to rain Planes arrive first of May. this year 200,000 acres last year 9,000,000 acres. We did not have much of a season this year. glad you liked the pictures Thanks again.

OMG March!!! omg I thought I lived up north. confused End of March is called mud fun as that's how our back roads are ATT or humonguos pot holes. Anyways, good night as I'm pooped. Nice to chat with you. Thanks for teaching me something new. smilenod sleepytime

230 miles south of Anchorage. overlooking 5 glaciers and the bay not a bad place still connected by road to rest of world. most westernly point of road still connected with road is 20 miles north of here. good night and thanks
