Ok, combining your messages with the image has provided me with some insights I did not see in your earlier messages/posts........
I see NOW that you are dealing with an IDE/SATA combination, but not only that, but one of your drives contailns a LINUX OS.......... definately not a "common" scenario here, but we will still try to get you up/running.
Some tips on using Linux with Vista........ If you are determined to make Linux work with Vista, you MUST install Linux last (After Vista) and modify your GRUB to include the Vista bootloader info. There is some info on this here, just do a search.
If you DON'T need the Linux OS, a suggestion would be to remove the IDE drive altogether and simply run the SATA with XP and Vista, which is much more "managable"

Ok, if you feel that way about it, could you try this....... -
-FIRST, delete the drive from the IDE disk (And leave the unpartitioned space "unallocated")
-Then see if your SATA drive will dual boot between XP/Vista
- If NOT successful, remove the IDE drive altogether and see how your SATA drive dual boots
