After watching the gas prices skyrocket up $.25 in 10 days last month at my local gas station. ($.05 every 2 days) I noticed that they seem to have levelled off for now. I was just wondering what everyone else is paying for their gas nowadays. I pay $1.90/gallon for 89 proof. And it costs around $30 to fill up my Explorer Sport (17.5 gallons). Yes I go to fumes 'til I fill it. :lalala

I just put gas in today ($20.00) and I have no idea how much it was, just asked for that amount. I usually try to keep it above a 1/4 tank because one of my good friends keeps warning I'll damage the fuel pump if I don't.
Guess I'm not much help

I filled up today for $1.55 a gallon. This area seems to have some of the lowest prices around for some reason. Why I don't know. That was at an Amoco station. Some of the off-the-wall brands are a little cheaper.

JoJo, I'm not sure I want to try. LOL. I was thinking that a liter is approx 3.78 gallons, which would put it at 2.87 a gallon. I think there are US gallons and UK gallons and I have no clue as to the difference. I actually am not sure how much a liter is. We're different here, LOL, we use ounces, pints, gallons, inches, feet, and yards.

It is horrible. I also fueled up today... $1.58 a gallon for lowest grade. I was buying the middle grade but stopped due to the hike in price.
It's rediculus... so much for "country drives" on time off. Uggh...

googled it- 3.79 Liters=1 us gal. So I see its not as bad as I thought,
3.79 x .76= $2.88 per gallon converted.

Paying 1.47 at Sam's here in Southeast Louisiana. Costs me about $40 to fill up my 15 passenger van! It brings tears to my eyes. LOL
