Yeah last night was intense. LOST has made such a radical transformation from the science/mystery of last season. This season is almost spy-themed. Ben is quite the talented man lol.

crazy lost. no pun intended. i guess the most recent jack/kate/hurley flashforwards are pre season 3 finale flash forwards. jack asked kate to marry him...bout freaking time.

Maybe that's not the Aaron we think? Seems some folks are speculating that what Kate said about Sawyer might have to do with HIS child. If you think back, the woman he ran the cons with (Kate did too) told him she was pregnant. Just a thought.
We got all caught up yesterday before the new episode. That was pretty sweet watching three in a row - a lot better than waiting on those dang cliff hangers.

Jack's Dad isn't Jacob though - just a "representive".
I think Claire is dead. Why else would she be with her dad - and give up her baby? Plus she looked a little high in the cabin. Who knows.
The time distoration effect is really cool. Locke said they were going to move the island. I have two theories on that:
Perhaps he wants to move it in time. If he moved the island back or forward in time, the Widmore people would arrive on the island it wouldn't matter.
OR: The island is in a different universe and is just being mapped on to Planet earth as we now it by some sort of Physics thing. In that case, Locke, Ben, and Hurley could just change where the island is mapping to on the earth.
I'm tending to move to the second one because of this article: http://www.popularmechanics.com/science/research/4260687.html?series=6

That might also explain how Jack's father and Charley are visiting Hugo and Jack back in the "real" world.

Yeah - they might be island projections or something.
I'm pretty sure after last night's episode that Richard Alpert is not a real person but some sort of island creature. He DOESN'T age. It's quite weird.
Who knows?
