OK, I would contact the vendor then since I can't seem to find any good place to download the driver.

Thanks, hope you could help report the matter to them as well. I tried once, but simply no response from them.

I've got the driver CD for a 'vp-eye' here if you're still looking for a driver. To be honest it's not much good - I bought a cheap 'no-name' webcam 6 months ago & this was the CD that came in the box with it; some of the documents on the CD refer to 'vp-eye' that's the only ID I have for it really. It does install and work on XP but it takes a bit of handholding. Well ok a lot.
I actually found this thread whilst doing a general search for vp-eye on Google - I was trying to find something better but it's not looking good.

I have purchased a VP-Eye WebCam. After following install details and launching VP-Eye, I get a run time error stating that file SPCA561.SYS is missing.
Can't find on install disk, have no idea what file is!
Any one know what this file is or where I can get a copy
Any one else had this or a similar problem

Hello and Welcome to PROnet, maxmax!
The missing "spca561.sys" driver seems to be ubiquitous - it has happened to me before - but fortunately, there are many places to download this file: try this site.
