My little brother is such a pain in the @$$. He's a smartass to me, he uses my stuff and loses/breaks it, and he completely disrespects me. Many a time, I have simply wanted to kill him. I cant even push him beecause he will throw himself into a wall, hurt himself, and blame it on me. Anyone else have little brothers like this? What do you do about them? I am getting so fed up with him...

Ahhhhhhhhhh. Can you give me one reason why your little brother should respect you. It takes two to tango my friend, and it's all a part of the growing up syndrome. Never mind, when you are much older, you will have a great relationship with your brother, so for the moment try and be more tolerant, and try and see things from his viewpoint. Little brothers don't like being just that...little brothers, and that's probably the reason he reacts with you the way he does...lol

And so you will. Life moves on quickly, and you will find it hard to believe the relationships you had not only with your brother, but with the whole family when you get older. Also dont forget you will change a lot yourself.

You may not realise it at the moment, but your bond with your brother is probably strong, and as you grow it will get stronger. The unfortunate thing about the bond at the moment is that it is probably one of conflict which you both will grow out of.

OK... ONE he should respect me:
1. I do EVERYTHING for him.
I dont want to tango with my brother. If this is part of the "growing up syndrome" then I am requesting a doctor lol.

Brothers, sisters, the saying goes you can choose your friends, you are stuck with your family!
If it is any consolation My Bro & I fought like cat & dog & defended each other to the hilt when it counted!
There were times when I not only wished him dead I measured the plot I was going to bury him in!
Now we've both grown up and a better mate you couldn't wish to have!
10 to 15 years sounds like a long prison sentence but by then you'll probably the best of friends!
