If you just want a large, easily navigable reference site for CSS, HTML, etc., I really like www.w3schools.com. They seem to be on the ball.

While working with Plone last year I attended the 1st Plone conference in New Orleans. Here's a link to the slideshow from the CSS tutorial given on day one. The code here will be "very" Plone specific, however, the folks behind Plone are CSS "grand masters" smilenod and they may be able to help you too. Besides, anyone who knows good beer like these guys couldn't be all bad. Good Luck!
