Are their electricity cuts in your country ?

Does electricity goes off in your country?


I want to know if their are other countries like India that has electricity cuts.

The electricy cuts are very rare over here in Hellas. Less than one/year.

See the difference sometimes thier is no electricity for the whole day ?

About the only time we have any ptoblems with the electricty here is when we have a bad storm like a hurricane that knicks it out or some idiot runs into an electricity pole near my house.

DEVILSAN I feel for you, not sure I could handle that happening all the time, Do a lot of people use generators to maintian power when the power goes out?

We have not losst power for about 6 months now. Which means we must be in for a good storm soon.

Our PM John Howard is putting forward a plan for "Clean energy supplies" and is allocating about AU$5 Billion for it. But still refuses to sign the kyoto protocol. Grrrr

Ya we do use generators .............thats the only option left when electricty goes off. oops

No the only time it goes off is when there is really bad weather like ice or a T-storm. I think it's been a few years since it last went off.

We do have 'em in serbia sometimes. During the winter and some power failures when water levels are low then we have 2 hour scheduled cuts during one or two days. And it also happens maybe once in a month, total duration of 5 minutes.
