jeff,
if you was on meds. are you still? if so are you weaning away from them? has your appetite changed any since your haircut?
btw its good to see that you have met your demons head on and are gaining the upper hand.

Thanks Joe, I took myself off the meds, I felt like they were not work as they should and I did not like the side affects of them.

good to see you here jeff....
i've been down that road. sadly we are our own worst critics and enemies all rolled in together.
reconigizing that is one major step in the right direction. now its the baby steps that all add up to getting back to what for you is a normal semblence of a good and enjoyable life.
as someone said earlier we are good listerners and we care. this is after all a family of sorts.

Welcome to the board! I'm new here too. I had a depression earlier in the year and it wasn't so dandy. My father was abusive torwards me and my mom almost had a heart attack and they were on the brink of divorce. And your right about the simple things, just getting away from my house and being around friends really got my life back up. And like you I now no longer have it and my parents are still together and changed theyre ways.
