I'm new to this so I hope I'm in the right forum. I got two problems which might be related.
My mouse pointer has decided to go off the screen if i go the the right (from me) so i can't see it and if Igo down or up and then to the left it comes back at a new place. If I go down i can can barely see the tip of the pointer. I've tried both the xp drivers and the latest from logitech. My monitor is Adi i610 tft with win xp drivers.
How come in device manager I get 3 default monitors and one plug and play and if I throw one out it always comes back at the next startup?

Do you have 2 video cards, or S-Video connection and that is enabled in display properties? I ask this because if the second video adapter is enabled, your pointer would do off of the screen and onto the second screen (secong video adapter). Check to make sure you only have on video adapter enabled.

What's your graphic card? And you might want to get the latest drivers to see if it helps, but sounds like it's the muti monitor's prob.

About your mouse...is this a new problem? Did you try updating the drivers for the mouse? If it's one with a ball, is the ball clean? If it's cordless, could the batteries be dying? Just some thoughts...

The problam you are experiencing may be related to a multiple monitor issue. You may want to go into display properties and on the settings tab make sure that only one monitor is active, unless of course you are using 2+. (If you are using 2 or more, make sure that they are lined up properly on the settings tab, and also that the screen resolution is the same.

I get that same problem with my wifes wireless optical mouse....you go to move it and the cursor just disappears somewhere.....then suddenly pops back in at the upper left corner....fresh batteries didnt help....putting the reciever right by the front of the monitor didnt help....changing frequencies dont help.....
its a sporatic issue ... never could solve it.
I dont care...its on the wifes machine.
