who in you opinion does it best?
the Democrats or the Republicans?
who would you choose as the biggest spinners then?

i don't think any particular party has policies that work always, and in America where the two big parties never had absolute majority. it is difficult for any party to claim success even when there is some success to delebrate

I think the Republicans have more power, mostly because money sits on their side typically. Typically this is a conservative group... Southerners, Farmers, Religious Families, Bible Belt, typically sticks by what works (how it was), etc. Takes on the role of the Eagle...
I think Democrats have more attention however, because they speak with the voice of the minority, adn the media eats that up. Typically this is a very liberal group... Northerners, Large Cities with Urban population, Minorities, Non-Religious, 'open' to new ideas (including on morality)... likes change. Takes on the role of the Dove...
I think Conservatives are more corrupt (money is the root of all evil), but I think Democrats skew the truth and lie more (exagerate more than anything).
You can't win really... I tend to vote down the lines of who's the best person, not the party. Overall I've gone from being very conservative in my teens, to mostly liberal in my early 20's.

I find the two parties to be very similar even with the differencies John mentioned that only draw a fine line. IMHO they're both - more or less - the same.

John, you sound more democrat and i can see why you do not give republicans any credits.
this is going to be heavly disputed when ED and BELL1 come up, republicans in hart and soul, will hardly give democrats or any other party or person of other party credits

I don't like to argue myself... and I don't take it personally anymore. As a Republican I felt I was taking things too seriously most of the time... and I bashed my fair share of Democrats, including all the one's in office.
Now I tend to voice my unhappiness with politicians in Office, like Bush, but I doubt I'd go out and protest it or whatever... not my style now.

I resent that remark even if it is true. There is at least one proud conservative Republican in an urban setting who is a Hawk. I wonder who
