A person told me that Earth is going to blow up after every one is either in heaven of the other place because it would serve no purpose, so why are there other planets without people? At least there would be animals on Earth, those are even on other planets.

We're just the third rock from the sun...

Ours just can sustain life...

Mars likely could have once... and many scientists believe some of Jupiter's moons still might. Some of Jupiter's moons are close to planet size...

It's not our solar system that boggles my mind though... it's the countless other galaxies beyond our own. Just wondering what's there...

And who um exactly told you the earth is going to blow up? LOL

That's actually geologically and physically impossible.

The two things that you should worry about the most is an asteroid impact or if human kind destorys it self. Those are the only two things that you should worry about in your lifetime.

Sounds to me like they were just trying to scare you... You shouldn't worry about that.

The only article I've ever seen about global explosion was due to Green House Gas warming:
http://sci-e-research.com/geophysics.html

Personally I say even that's BS because I know the physics behind it.

The world will be here far beyond our time... with, or without us...

The world's been around for 4 billion years... we've been here for about 0.04% of ALL that time.
