A Yankee is really a person from the area we call New England here in America. Before the Civil War it was used to designate anyone from a anti-slave state, and it has held on ever since. Hope that helps

Actually the southern definition of yankee is kind of like a quickie, but by yer self.....
It goes with out saying 100% Dixie, and you yankees remember that "the south shall rise again"
Oh my,
RIP

I tried the link and like others I received an error so I found a new link here it is http://www.angelfire.com/ak2/intelligencerreport/yankee_dixie_quiz.html

And I am proud to say I scoured an “84% (Dixie). Did you have any Confederate ancestors?” I guess that is what you get for living in Mississiep (Correct Southern Pronunciation of Mississippi) and Georgia for 6 years. I do have Confederate ancestors that fought in the war (very little good comes out of a country fighting itself, we are always stronger united no matter what the cause is. A thousand people is stronger that one)

LOL, I can't disagree with that, but then again I was born and raised in Mississippi also.
