Hi,

I am a faithful fan of Mandrake Linux, unfortunately I had to let it go a year or so ago and go back to Windows. So since then I have had Win98SE, Win2000 and now WinXP Pro (SP1, love it so far) but there is Mandrake 9.0 that is in it's final beta testing and I have already allocated 6 gigs of my second hard drive for it.

One of my big problems is that I am graphics novice, but a fairly good one, actually pretty darned good, if I do say so myself tongue so I have been looking around for a vector program that is pretty excellent. I use XaraX in WinXP and it ROCKS for day and years and centuries 8) but if I make a go with Mandrake again I am going to want to play with vectors. I like GIMP for painting and image stuff but vectors are my main thing right now. So are there any anyone would recommend????

Export and import features are pretty important along with things like feathering, drop shadows, fills and transparencies.

Much appreciated!! :D
