I currently have broadband (576) from btopenworld (uk) using a speedtouch 330 adsl modem (the frog).

I wish to play online games using my ps2. I know i need some sort of router as there is nowhere to plug the cable from the ps2 into (except the ethernet port on the pc but thats up stairs)

Do you play online with ps2 ? any advice ?
i currently play 'call of duty' online using my pc which rocks (far better than medal of honour)

Hello. To get on line you have to get the Playstation to an internet connection. Since the Playstation 2 does not come out of the factory with a network adapter you need to buy one seperately. I have the link below from a website that sells the adapters. Once you have it on the network you can use a router to communicate with the PS2 from your computer, as well as share a broadband/dialup connection.

I would suggest that you stick with pc for online gaming. My friend spent about a hundred dollars getting the game the adapter, not mentioning the internet service. You really can't enjoy the game with diaup so upgrading to broadband will cost you atleast $40, and for each game you play it's an additional $10 a month. He got bored after a month and now they are just laying in his garage. In my opinion it's really not worth it, xbox live only costs $70 including a communicator a year subscribtion, and if you want to continue it's only 5 dollars a month for as unlimited games.
