I'd be interested too. Meanwhile LH4051 - installed for two weeks has been completely devoid of problems.

well we are all aware that the folks at Redmond are hard at work for a next build. Hopefully I wish we could see a little bit of "Aero" but I don't think that'll happen until sometime in 2004

I prepared a spread sheet w/ the closest to leaked dates i could find.

3682- M3........Not Leaked
4008- M4........?
4015- M5........6/25/2003
4029- Not Official
4051- PDC......10/26/03

The time between the last 2 'official' builds was 4 Months.
This is a starting point to guess the next builds...'possible' future leaked date.

You can discuss any factors to use + or - 4 months. This is all i have, for now.....shreader cool

Thanks shreader, I hope to see a new release within the next 4 months, that'd be cool, but then I guess everyone here would have to spend all their time again downloading like "4065" or something else, I'm just spending all my time looking for any hint to the next release, and if I find one, i'll post my finds for you guys.

That's what keeps our attention...and the adrenaline pumping...LOL...Once everyone has their copy and have been running it for a while...It gets a little boring in this forum...I don't think we could stand it...if we had to wait longer in between builds... lol

What's curious is from build to build I see little change in the actual software, I don't know how to speed it up an awful lot like the tweaking guide tells you, so I can see a cosmetic and superficial difference but I still seem to have a spare CD-R to burn the next build to just to see what it's like. Mabe I don't have enough to do at uni smile

Is there anywhere in here where we can find out how to totaly revamp the actual UI of Longhorn? I mean, I've only had it for a couple of days now, and it works great but I know somewhere there is someone or place where a new build is previewable, I wish i could sneak on to M$'s website and see what their true intentions are, cuz I like the way Longhorn looks as of now, and I think it should have some kind of Dynamic UI that lets the user tell it what to look like or am I dreamin or something. I'm just too anxious!

The nearest you'll get to any tweaking is by checking out our tips and tweaks on LH in this area of the forum. As for revamping the UI ...well that's a different story. smilenod
