When 4051 was initially released, quite simply it wasn't the one that was released at the Professional Developers Conference for the important attendees. You must remember as an Alpha build 4051 was leaked on to the Web intentionally, and the next stage in this process has been the one released to developers to give them the opportunity to work with code and compatibility questions on their perceived new products in the future. This will enable MS to garner all the neccessary info for the first Beta release. You can never expect a standard to be set at such an early stage as Alpha, therefore the differences. smilenod

The latest release we have of 4051 is the PDC version. As for telling the difference you really would have to make the comparison yourself and if you come up with the differences let us know. Again as they are only at Alpha stage then most people are just quite happy to play around with the latest version. We can start getting serious when the Beta comes out, but for now Alpha is just an opportunity to see what's on offer at the moment. There will be so much more added once the Beta comes out, so i would content myself with playing around with our latest build. smilenod
