To the best of my understanding...if you have only a guest account...there is no way for you to have an Administrator's account...You must have an Admin account in order to create new ones...Did you do the actual install yourself...If so...something has gone wrong...Unless someone is aware of a major work-a-round...(seriously doubt there is one)...I would go for a clean install...Actually a clean install would be quicker than trying to solve a problem like this...At least you are out a minimal amount of time and frustration at this point.

In regards to LH being compared to XP...at this time...there is "no" comparison...LH is in Alpha phase which is for testing only...There is still a long way to go before it even reaches Beta...which will still be for testing purposes only...PROneT strongly recommends that you "not" consider using LH as a primary OS until after it has been realeased to market.

Good luck...and let us know how you get on.

Thank you

Ive done this before,

There's a SAM file in your system32 dir somewhere, under c:\windows\system32\config
If you can get hold of bootable linux perhaps, and use that to rename that file to something else.

Doing this should reset the Administrator login so it has no password.

Same goes for any other Accounts that may be on that PC.

Try MS's Virtual PC too... 45 day Trial IIRC?!
