Welcome Adam, I'm sure someone from the Longhorn team will be along shortly to help.

Hi 0424adam,

When you install Lh 4051 it gives you a 60 day activation to try it out & Re: the w32.blast.worm virus i would have to say no its not automatically protected, this is only my guess for this tho.

Hello 0424adam

Welcome to the PROneT LH forums...In regards to your questions...4029 was not a legitimate MS build...so there is no way of knowing at this point how 4051 is going to act...No patches are being released for any of the builds as these are all Alpha builds which are being leaked...not released to the public...And to answer your last question about the blaster worm...4015 (which was the last legitimate build) was not immune...the same precautions had to be taken as for any other OS...In addition...one of the reviews I have read on 4051...is that MS recommends that it not be taken onto the internet...I would have to agree with shreader that 4051 is not immune...PROneT does not recommend that anyone use 4051 as a main OS...Personally I would use it as a secondary...and primarily for tinkering with...just to see what it will and will not do.

We wish you luck and hope you enjoy experimenting with LH...Please feel free to return and post any of your findings with this new build.
