I have used VistaBootPRO to setup a dual boot system with XP and Vista. I now just need a little help with something. I need to change the partition that is being used for the windows boot manager. It is current set to one of the HD's that I want to use for storing backups (E: ). Until I change this, Vista will not allow me to use it's backup software to backup files to the E drive. See below for my configuration. Notice the boot manager is set for partition=E:
It also looks like the memory tester is setup on the E: drive too. Don't really want it there. Can someone give me some help with this?

I think check where all the boot system files are for both operating systems (the folder Boot and file bootmgr for Vista and the files ntldr, boot.ini and NTDETECT.COM for XP) and then copy them to the Vista or XP partition and try to reset the BCD so it looks for the files there.

Note however, that if those files are at present on the partition tagged (System) in Disk Management...right click Computer>Manage...then I don't think you're going to be able to do this. Should this be the case take care as changing the BCD then could result in your not being able to boot to either operating system.
