i have downloaded Ultimate Boot CD which is an ISO that i now have to burn on disc, to use it.. let me try .

BartPE and Ultimate Boot CD
You can boot to them and repair your master boot record is why I said those two and you mentioned that you did not have a boot cd, only recovery.

yea i used Boot CD to boot, actually yesterday night i messed up totally with booting & i wasnt getting to OS selection menu, so now i have removed Kubuntu , OS from , that i guess it simple removed the GRUB menu too, for taht i have to boot again as still i got two OS selections just got rid of one OS selection, their are many tools inside it , i used GAG tool , i want if someone know exact menu items i should hit to do the fixing of boot selections..
now i m going to reboot and see what i can do myselft and will reply later..
