As we first
reported here two months ago,
Dance of the Dead will be released by Lionsgate Home Entertainment and Ghost House Underground as part of an inaugural series of horror films on DVD.
The first collection in the series is an eight film boxed set which will also include
Brotherhood of Blood, Dark Floors, Last House in the Woods, No Man's Land: The Rise of the Reeker, Room 205, Substitute, and
Trackman.
All eight films will also be available as individual discs.
The DVD boxed set and individual discs will hit store shelves on October 14.
Dance of the Dead was my
#1 Top Pick from this year's SXSW Film Festival. This is a film that has so much to like it's bound to cross genres and please audiences of all types. Earlier on this blog you can find
my review,
pictures from the Q&A following the screening,
a video interview with lead actor Jared Kusnitz, and
an interview with Kusnitz and co-star Greyson Chadwick.
