I could not find Internet Explorer in the list of Programs or Windows Features. Could you point it in more details?

I could be wrong, I am afraid I was thinking XP, in XP you have the option to uninstall it sorry

You may have to do a repair install

Thanks for your response.
I assume you mean Upgrade Install. For XP I think it is called In-Place Repair Install. Anyway I attempted such install in the past for Vista but it always said Upgraged Install is disabled. I do not know under what circumstance the repair install is enabled.

I will be on the road for the next 5 weeks leaving the problem PC behind. I will try the repair install when I come back home.
