We get snow every month of the year on the Drakensburg Mountains - a little known fact even over here. For 2 or 3 months of the year our highest peaks are snow covered. Not all the time but still lol

Well isn't that interesting, who would have thought of snow in Africa. Never too old to learn something new.

Guess its a bit like everyone thinks we have nothing but snow and igloos in Canada lol
Thanks Graham

You don't? lol Just kidding...I know you have a real varied climate over your massive country, east to west and north to south. What was a surprise for me to find out was how small your population is relative to the size of the territory you occupy though JoAnn smilenod

Varied climate is right! Yesterday, air conditioner, today furnace on!
Yes its quite astounding how unpopulated our country is, in comparison to over populated countrys. Birthrate is low and we need immigrants to sustain our culture.
Here in Alberta, its an employee's market. Many jobs available but no workers. No workers to build the housing, we need for new Albertans.
Also the high cost of housing is unaffordable to many, so it keeps em away. Vicious circle.
