It seems much 'lighter' than Explorer and the pages seem to load quite a bit faster. The spell check is nice and I'm quite impressed at the number of MS and other plug-ins for it.

I don't like the text size and format after Explorers Clear Type.
I also don't like tabs opening right at the end of the tab bar instead of next to the page you're opening them from.
Can't seem to find how to set tabs to open to the home page and not (Untitled) because that needs another click to get to Home.

I'm getting used to it though and will see how it goes using it this time round.

Overall I like it. But I'm not crazy about the recent history bar. It just looks messy.

FF3 did require a few changes to code on websites I oversee too, but nothing major. I'm actually about to try and run IE8 too - just to see what happens with it in early Beta format. I'm sure there will be swearing involved, there usually is with IE.

So far it's pretty nice smile There's definitely some improvements over FF2.

- I Like the tweaks done to the visual style. It looks much more polished now.
- FINALLY when you shrink images to fit it SOOTHES THEM! no more jagged images!
- Downloads window lists what website something was downloaded from now smile
- I like how refined the location bar is now, offering suggestions, and the bookmark icon on the location bar is sweet.
- Now it gives you direct access to "plugins" without having to go to "about:plugins"
- Fastest page loading, just like FF2
- Most Visited and Smart Bookmark dropdowns are pretty neat, I might keep them.

However some things I'm finding not so nice:

- The new icons included with the Strata them are HORRIBLE! IT seems ever since Fx 1.0 they've been going down hill. In Fx 1.0 they were nice; Fx 2.0 they were... ok, but nothing special; now in Fx 3.0 they are childishly simplistic, not very consistent (Different sizes, some are jagged, etc)
- Even though 95% of extensions still work with 3.0, most dev's are behind the ball in updating them so I have to manually go through and enable all my addons for Fx 3.0.
- Literally non of my themes work for Fx 3.0. I still have to enable those and test 'em out as well.
- Mac OS gets these widget thingies? What about Vista / XP / Linux? Surely the widget system would work just fine on them -- it looks like another case of Apple a**-kissing.

Graham, what do you mean by "Explorers ClearType"? I was reading the Fx 3.0 features and it mentioned new font rendering; my font doesn't look any different and I can't find anything in the options about choosing to smooth fonts...

The font is kind off bolder and more clear and more easy to read in Explorer Adam smilenod

I've just noticed another thing about FF - when you click a smiley to add to a post it appears at the bottom and you've got to cut and paste to get it to where you want it.

I clicked on your image and it wasn't clear so I clicked on the image in the window that opened and then it highjacked my browser

Have you guys seen the PicLens extension? Pretty sweet... especially if we could use that here on future galleries and such.
