Hey guys,
I didn't know where to post this subject.. so I just posted here..
My friend wants me to create a slideshow for his wedding reception with his & his fiance's childhood pictures... He wants it to be in movie format so I can integrate music and I can burn a dvd out of it..
I have adobe premiere, iMovie, final cut pro... i just dont know which one to use LOL..
any suggestions? plus if you suggestions on other software, please let me know!

My friend makes a musical slide show (.wmv) every year of out vacation to Tavarua island.
He uses Adobe Encore & his last one I re-burned it w/ Vista DVD make so it will play on the TV w/ my DVD player.
His beef w/ Encore is that it reduces the resolution down to conserve space so his large images are less sharp on a large screen TV set.
My DVD player has a thing built-in called up-conversion which does help the sharpness quite a bit.
It'll also just play a CD w/ a bunch of .jpg's & can be set to 5 seconds or more for the next image. That plus put on a music CD & you have the easy n cheep way to do a slide show.

I played with the Movie Maker in Vista. It was easy to get around. The only issue I had was it would not burn to my DVD due to I had an IDE DVD burner. I purchased a SATA DVD burner and it worked great..
I have also done it on my Mac. The Mac had awesome templates. If you could find somebody with a Mac that would be the way to go. If not do it with Vista (that is if your Vista has the Movie Maker in it)

yeah, I've got a Mac (iMovie, iPhoto, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Encore, Adobe Premiere) ... i just don't whats the easiest one to use ...

I would say either iMovie or iPhoto would have that feature

iMovies is the one I used. I imported photos into it and made an awesome slideshow
