So, I have a new M-series Gateway Lap top with the new ATI graphics card in it. I keep getting a blue screen of death. 0x000000016 graphics card failure

I have updated the driver, I have deleted the driver and Replaced the driver, I've rolled back the driver and then done everything over again.

Gateway said I could send the machine back to them, but I can live without my computer, Student and Flash Developer. I half to have my computer.

It normally crashes after being on for a few hours, not heat related it is elevated above a desk on a vented plastic stand. It can site on the couch or my lap for an hour or two and never crash.

I am using it to run Flash, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and sometimes Indesign all at the same time. Seems to crash sooner with more open. Also, I normally use an external monitor and the laptop monitor, external keyboard and wireless mouse.

Just trying to give you all the most info I can

Vista Ultimate, SP1 beta
3gb of ram
ATI 2400 something like 128mb of ram

need any more information?

thank for any ideas
I know we at ProNetworks are better then gateway
so we should be able to fix it.

Did it start crashing after installing the SP1 beta? I noticed some small quirks with my test machine while I had the SP1 beta running so I un-installed the SP1 beta, problems disappeared
