Ya, I tried vLite & did successfully use it to integrate Vista Ult & SP1 (it wouldn't let me do them all in 1- swoop).

It also installed fine when I chose the Ultimate edition.

Funny thing is the on the one I created all the editions were listed in the keyless install window, after trying the Business & finding it not slipstreamed I tried the Ultimate & it was smilenod

Any of you tried the vLite method and proved that it works? I've made a bootable DVD with it but have yet to see if it in fact will install a full Vista SP1 without any hitches. All I know thus far is that it is bootable and the regular installation screen appears.
Microsoft have stated that they feel it is best to wait until SP2 before attempting a slipstream. I'm not quite sure why.

Oh, i've tested it and used it with absolutely no qualms or issues. It functions 100% fine.

Thanks. It's good to know that I haven't got to install all those updates the next time I format & reinstall.
The slipstreamed Vista SP1 disk will save a lot of work.
I guess the next job will be slipstreaming XP SP3 into my original XP disk.
