I've just completed an alpha version of a lightweight video meta-search engine which allows users to search and download from many video hosting sites simultaneously. Try it at:

oxytube [dot] com

and tell me what you think!

I cant get it to work right, it downloads a file called "get file" and I cant open it.

Hmm, works well here Jim, I type in what I want to see, say an artist, and up comes a complete list that's available and click on what you want. Nifty little tool. Thanks for that dogglefox and welcome aboard. thumbsup

BTW Jim, I'll post a screenie if you need it.

Sorry Jim, I misunderstood. The file opens with Media Player Classic, only thing that I don't like is that you have to rename each file from 'get-video' to what it really is which, if you're using FF, then using download helper is the answer instead of this, at least for youtube. It is an alpha so I'm sure the OP will take this into consideration.

BTW they are .flv files.
